So DD will be 5 on 12/5 we are spending a week at the BCV arriving on 12/4.

I made ADR's and when i did i booked Akershus for Birthday Breakfast 12/5 i booked the Castle Package at BBB and Dinner at 1900 Park Fare.....apparently thats where i went wrong.:scared1:

SEE i booked CRT the following day because of MVMCP now i cant make the change because CRT is booked up soooooooooooooooo I am asking how is dinner at 1900 PF i heard the sisters are hilarious but how is the food? It's a buffet right?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated

We have only been to 1900PF for breakfast, but I have heard dinner is not that great. 1900PF itself is nothing special and I did not really like the layout and it can get quite crowded especially waiting for characters to come to your table.

May I suggest Cape May since you're staying at BCV. I know there are no characters at dinner, but the food is really good for a buffet and the oreo bonbons are reason enough to go!

My 2 sons and I love 1900 PF. It's the usual buffet fare, but the Stepsisters are just great! We have this on our list of must-dos annually (as is Cape May).

My family likes 1900 Park Fare.. It's been awhile since we have been there for dinner, but we did do breakfast last year. The best thing (at least for me!) is available at both breakfast and dinner.. The strawberry soup! It's seriously fantastic. I love it. Here is a menu of what sorts of things you can expect here for dinner.

We thought the food was really good. It is a typical buffet with a carving station and separate kids area, plus you have to try their strawberry soup. Nice desserts including I believe make your own sundaes. There were several birthdays the night we were there and the CM's seemed to be making a big deal out of them at the tables. Good character interaction with Lady Tremaine, Drizella, Anastasia, Cinderella and Prince Charming. My only complaints were that check-in was very unorganized and if you're driving, GF makes you self-park in a lot across the street a pretty decent distance from the hotel. Still, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

The character experience is great, the food not so great. Food is even sub-standard for Disney food. Definitely a great experience, but don't go there for the food.

Honestly, I didn't think the food was too bad. It wasn't great, but it was o.k. The step sisters are very entertaining.
