Up and at them early – I was going to do the Magic Kingdom today no matter what! Another quick breakfast in my room and grabbing the poncho I was at the bus stop waiting by 8 a m. It was still raining but more like spitting now – but no amount of rain was going to stop me today.

Soon I was entering the Second Happiest Place on Earth (with Disneyland being the first) and headed for Fanstyland. Had to wait for the rope drop – but I was flying Dumbo on the first flight of the morning. Off to Pooh next and then Snow White, Peter Pan – twice without getting off – Small World. I was done and with a potty break – was ready to meet Ariel by 10 – then to the character meet area where the subs used to be – the VILLAINS have now taken over. This morning was Malicifient, The Evil Queen, The Queen of Hearts, Jafar and Prince John.

Soon I was off to Tomorrowland and as I walked up to Space Mountain a CM asked if I would give this special lanyard to the person who assigned me to my car. It was a line time lanyard – which was rather cool – the CM at the front of the line scanned it and the CM at the other end scanned it. Soon I was blasting off in space.

Rode everything in Tomorrowland except for Alien – I like to ride this with someone to have someone laugh with. Also, found out that I am still terrible at shooting in Buz, but did finally make it to Ranger First Class.

From here to Frontierland and 2 rides on Splash Mountain - didn’t get wet on the first ride – but got rather wet on the second. Went over to Thunder to get dried off. Made my way over to Liberty Square and did the Hall of Presidents. Then to the Haunted House and rode twice without getting off.

Next it was time for the parade – but decided to ride Pirates, the Jungle Cruise, Tike Room and the flying carpets.

It was soon to start making my way to Main Street for my dinner at Tony’s. Met up on the front porch and rocked until it was time for our PS.

This was my first time eating here – cute restaurant inside forgot to take a picture of the fountain – oh well – there is always next time.

When we sat down we told our waitress that we had tickets for MVMCP and the manager came over and took our tickets and put on our wrist bands.

Shared the anitpasta and a puff ball stuffed with goat cheese. I had the veal – it was good but had an end piece that was tough.

Had along with dinner a blue raspberry smoothie which tasted good and comes in a take home glass mug with Lady and the Tramp on one side.

We were just starting out the door when the fireworks went off. We were staying for MVMCP and knew we would have to head towards Tomorrowland while they cleared the park. We stood right in front of the train station and watched the fireworks and then made our way down Main Street.

We went to Tomorrowland and got our pictures taken and then took some pictures of the castle while it was changing colors.

We went and saw the Celebrate the Season Show that is in Tomorrowland – this show was really good and I would recommend catching it.

Celebrate the Season Show

Next we rode Big Thunder – love riding this in the dark. Watched the fireworks from the Christmas Shop in Liberty Square – not the best place to watch them but we had just bought our MVMCP pins and didn’t get to Main Street in time. The first parade was starting and we watched it right in front of the Country Bears.

This parade is really nice and will mostly be what is shown Christmas morning on tv.

Afterwards rode Haunted Mansion – other all time favorite of mine – especially at night.

Got our cookies and hot chocolate at some point and then made our way to Main Street to watch the second parade. We sat right at the point where the parade turns off of Main Street just to the left of the castle. It was a great spot to watch. And as soon as the parade was over – moved up to the castle to save our spot for the last show in front of the castle. This show is really good – another don’t miss during MVMCP.

While waiting for the show to start – did the last minute shopping and a potty break, and then the show started.

Sadly, it was time to start that long long trip back down Main Street while it was snowing toward the gates. I hate this last walk.

Said our good byes at the bus stop and boarded the bus for the last bus ride this trip.

Got back to my room between 1 and 1:30 and started the finally packing. I was to be picked up for my flight at 5 am and was checked out and downstairs about 4:45 am – sleepy, tired, and sad, but on the other hand glad to be going home.

Mickey bar total = 2 – with the last one some time around 11:30 pm. :smooth:

You didn't sleep at all before your flight home? You are worse than me, Marla.

Yummm Tony's is a favorite of mine. Too bad the veal was tough. I know you are sad to be going home.
