DIS calling another bay be in pirates!

So because they are DIS means they are expected to act better than others...?.

I see it this way, we are a little community that is very nice, welcoming and overall very nice people. Mostly all the people who post here are really nice, and usually don't try to critizise other people.

When someone you think is nice, or know is nice and coming from a very nice community, you can't help but wonder, why would they do that? Why are they being mean?

Do you really want little kids to stay away with people that have "Dis" in there signature just because of a few people. I think the purpose of these threads are to kinda show that person that you can't be doing that, I mean once in a while I am tempted to say something really rude in pirates but I refrain from it and just get on with my life.

This thread was also made to get out anger. I was angry with a DIS person who was rude in pirate's. They said they we're sorry, everyone cheered her up and told her it was ok. she never did that again.

I've noticed that no one ever would be rude to another CL in a pirate game. Nothing against CLs or anything, I mean I want to become one like the rest of us, but just saying.

You'd be surprised how often this happens, lol. I've been called my fair share of nasty names, but usually the player takes off right after the game.

I don't let it get to me though. I like playing pirates, and will continue to do so. Sometimes I play really well, and sometimes, I'm just plain awful. There are a few people that think once you become a CL, you get magical pirate playing powers. I assure you, this is not so

If I was tattle tailing I would have ran here with the name. It was just a rant. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions on the matter, I just wanted to see what others thought.

ok no harm in that I suppose, I would have worded the Thread title a little better but hey whatever..

But to get back on topic.. name calling? Please. first of all i don't care what someone is saying about me, and second, it's just childish. If someone calls me a "bay be" in VMK i don't really care cause i know I have more class than them for not stooping to their level.. I think we should keep that in mind

I don't know what else to say except that is just so NOT true. I've also been called names and harrassed during pirates. I've even been told that the only reason I won was because I'm a leader. I must have missed the day they handed out special pirate powers to the CL's though.
I just don't hardly ever play with people I don't know anymore. Its either friends or computer boats for me!

What I do, if someone calls me a name or does something mean, I tell them to play nice. I have no problem running to get health and ammo, what I find funny, is that everyone does this. What gets me is the double and triple teaming. Does anyone have a sense of honor left in pirates Just my Two Cents

I have come accross ppl saying to hurry up whenever I was in a one on one match. And ppl can never be good sports. Someone said "omg i hat u" when my team won and there are ppl saying shut up. Once I played pirates as a guest and a lot of ppl were suprised at my skills. Some girl kept booting me from her team but i kept joining until she decided to let me in and was surprised saying "guest your good" in the second round although we lost the game. Another case when I lost was when I was in a 1 on 3 or 4 match. I took out most of the team in a matter of 10 seconds leaving one person and ppl saying omg but that person beat me. Also when I was playing FrontierNatasha I beat a team and when I joined again on the opposite team after the game and then someone else joined making it uneven the guy booted ME and started the game all because I beat him. I DO have a few characters I play on and vent out my frustrations on pirates to be anonymous. But I dont do it too much. I also act weird on those characters with ppl calling me a weird.oh or strange and fire back at them but still remain anonymous.

I also tell people to be nice. If they continue this behavior, toward me or someone else, I either just park my boat and let the Krakken get me, or I exit the game. There is enough hate and discontent in the world already, I certainly don't need to see it or "hear" it in VMK.

What I want to say is, "- fill in whatever they called me or my teammates- this!" but I don't think that will look too good on my leader application!

sorry about that but It just seemed in my view that way. Expecially since I play with a lot of CL's. I know they don't have special "powers"
