DIS boards slow loading lately?

Lately the boards have been slow loading, has anyone else having this problem? All other site are very fast. This is random when it does it. Sometimes its fast then it will be very slow.

Me too. Happens periodically for no apparent reason.

This is the only site in my favourites that it does it with.

And also every now and then I get a message saying the boards will be closed for two hours. When I refresh, the site loads. lol

Yes!! I have been complaing about this to my BF for the past couple days. I thought it was my computer!

It seems worst on this forum. The Disneyland section of the Disboards has been loading much faster for me. Weird!

Yes, sometimes it is so slow that I leave it loading and go onto another page just to pass the time But then other times it works right away, so I have no idea what's going on

The boards load really slowly for me during the daytime, but at night they load a lot faster... I think it's just so much traffic on the server, bogging it down.

I frequent many different boards on here and it does it on all of them. At first for me, it used to only do it late at night. Now it does it a lot all during the day.

I work night shift, but basically just have to be around in case something happens, so am online usually late at night. Every night around 2:15am it seems like the DIS totally freezes. I get off for about 30 minutes, then I can get back on. It's really aggravating.

same here! only I haven't narrowed it down to what time... i'll have to watch tonight.

(same here as in: 3rd shift just to make sure nothing burns down. + DIS freezing completely)

And I get the most 'lag' loading at peak times, including those peak times in the UK. I often just give up on it loading and go do something else for a half hour to an hour.

okay, I just experenced the freeze. this time it went down around 2:10 am (central) and it is up again at 2:36am. so yeah, there we go. it is still loading slow but at least it is loading.
