Dis boards being directed to ads?

I've never had this happen before. Why am I logging in and being redirected to ad websites? Some of them seem "scammy"
Also I can be in the middle of typing a post and get directed and go back and all the post has gone.

Is this happening to anyone else?

This is a relatively common occurrence, generally when browsing from mobile devices. I've found it happens about every 3-4 months for a day or so and then stops.

When I get the redirect, I just swipe back, and I'm back on the Dis.

I’ve been having mine direct me to a BT survey. When I’m browsing sometimes.

I keep getting a pop-up from Spectrum (supposedly) that I've won a prize.

I get redirected to a supposed Mediacom prize page

Same thing is happening to me. Often get a McAfee anti virus scan opening up. I don’t have that product.
