DIS bash in North Carolina!! All are welcome!

Hey folks-- it's time for another North Carolina DIS meet!

WHEN: Saturday, November 9th, 3 p.m.

WHERE: North Raleigh, Falls River Clubhouse (directions to follow)

WHO: All us DISers

WHAT: Bring something to eat!

You may bring non-alcoholic beverages with you; all alcoholic beverages must be purchased through the bar. I'll take care of plates, cups, etc.

Let's start getting a head count, then we can figure out what kind of food to bring. There's an indoor and an outdoor fireplace and a grill-- so we have the option of roasting hotdogs, or grilling other meats. Please feel free to post your ideas/suggestions.

When I started the other post I had no idea it would lead to such a fun thing you have come up with. We didnt make the last get together but hoping to make this one! Sounds like fun!

We will check schedule and get back with you but really hope this thing comes together, I have never been in a room with others with Disneyitis so it will be good to swap ways to cure it.

have fun. my fiance and I attended a DIS/DVC/Pin meet in Harrisburg this summer and had lots of fun meeting fellow DISers and DVCers.

DW and I also look forward to meeting with y'all. Our first trip home is coming up on Dec 1st (BCV) so we're getting excited. We both enjoyed the Streets @ Southpoint meet a couple of months ago.

LOL-- I could have used your help on the invitation I placed on the CB. Would you believe NO ONE from the CB responded? Dan Murphy was very nice and helped me bump a couple of times, but it's like it was a ghost town over there! If I remember correctly, this has been the case in the past too. The only DISers who have joined our gatherings have been from the DVC board.

It's funny how each board has it's own little community and they sometimes aren't interested in "intermingling."

Hey Sheryl, it just means they're bumping the post up so people will still see it and it doesn't get lost on page 2, 3, etc...
By the way when I was trying to get stuff organized for the last meet and posted on the CB, I literally heard crickets chirping when I pulled my post back up -absolutely NO one responded. Happily, I guess it's not just me

Hey we3luvdisney, 999 bottles of beer on the wall!! Maybe what turned off the folks on the CB was the fact that there wasn't going to be any free alcohol.

Heather, maybe it IS you! They must know we're buds and are ignoring me for associating with you. BTW, I owe you a goodie for the pins. Got any ideas for me?
