Like any addict, sometimes we have to hide and cover the extent of our illness. My husband's out of town, so guess how I am spending my night! Even though I keep telling myself I should get to bed, I have to catch up on all the posts from the week.

Agree, it's not just the helpful information but also the people and sense of community that make these boards so great.

Me too - seems to get worse the closer it gets! But, on the other hand, We've saved a ton of money by buying APs (used tothink only people in Florida needed them), hotel code rates and today I found out the the price for park tickets are going up tomorrow - so I ordered our tickets right away! Thanks for being here - even if you all are enablers!!!

I know exactly how you feel. Luckily, I have an aunt who is also an addict. Our families are going on their second trip together. We e-mail each other back and forth about our trips every day. Everyone thinks we're crazy, but we're just having fun. Life is too short and too full of problems. It's nice to have something that you enjoy and can look forward to.

I am soooo guilty!!!

I don't even have a trip planned at this time, but I still spend lots of my free time "surfing" the DIS. Every day I check airfares to see when they might drop enough to plan a trip. I've already warned my DH another trip is in my future - and he said he's going with me as he knows I'm going with or without him! I've already got tentative dates in my mind so now I'm just on the lookout for the best deals.

I should be heading to the grocery store now or doing some housework but the draw of the DIS is just too strong. Who cares if there's no food in the house?!?

My DH thought I was crazy- before our last trip- but then it was so great and so much better than our one previous trip that had been planned with guide books only that he is now encouraging me. Just yesterday we were discussing an aspect of our upcoming trip and he said- "Post a question on THE board." He's come a long way.

This board offers too much good info not to be addicted to it. An added bonus is how friendly and helpful most people are on the DIS board. I was able to plan most of my wedding in Disney through the help of this board.

Man, I am SOOO addicted to the DIS!!! I wish my friends and family loved Disney as much as I do. The DIS has actually made me LOVE WDW more than I did BEFORE I discovered this place last year. I now know so much about Walt, the history of the CR and POLY, and of course, CODES which I have never had the opportunity to use. I'm praying for the opportunity to use them for our upcoming trip in October!
I just wish some of y'all lived nearby so we could become friends and be DIS-crazy together !
At least we are all here for each other on these boards!

My oldest DD just read this thread over my shoulder, laughed, and said, "That is so you, Ma!" Who cares if you can't walk through my living room or that my basement is the Scary Abyss of No Return? Surfing the DIS is more important!

Picked up my park hoppers today from AAA--just one example of the many tips I've learned for saving money, etc. here on the DIS boards!

Hi There - I am new to the boards, and I had to laugh yet concur with all your previous posts- this web-site is absolutely wonderful, and positively addictive!! We are not going to the Poly until July, and somehow, these boards just let the magic begin prior to your arrival date......Have a great trip everyone!

I love the DISboards! My computer is on 24/7 with a DSL connection and I almost always have a browser open to DIS--so anytime I want, I can sit down for a few minutes of DISing--like at 4:30 this morning when I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep!

I used to think WDW was just a place to go on rides, and I'm not much of a rides person. I was so-o-o-o wrong--I've learned from the DISboards about all the shows, wonderful places to eat, the resorts, etc., etc. (Plus it turns out I am a "rides person" after all, just not on the roller coasters!)

DH is as much of a DIsney addict as I am--he was telling me recently that he is going through "Disney withdrawal" since we haven't been since March . He doesn't read the DISboards but he thinks it's great I get such a kick out of them!
