You should definitely do it. July is an awful time in central Florida but it would be so worth it to be able to meet up with everyone.

Very true, but hubby just said that if we go alone, we'd cut Vegas so it would be a very Disney heavy trip!! And we'd find a WWE event somewhere too.

I would really just like definite dates, even if they don't announce what's happening yet. I know they won't have them until all of the contracts are signed, but the sooner we know, the better. For instance, will there be any events on the July 31, or will it be contained to the previous weekend? Looking forward to whatever it is, just trying to plan!

I highly doubt they would extend it to that Sunday, knowing that most people would be traveling home that day if they came for the week. But I certainly have no official confirmation of that. It just seems very unlikely that they would expect people to take a trip that spans 2 different weeks.

If they were still taping whatever the other one is (God, the name is escaping me right now) at universal, that would be awesome, but I'm not sure an NXT event compares to a RAW event.
We were discussing last night and will try to get the September event in.
Only issue is that they don't announce dates till 6 months out but we need to book in Jan/Feb...

We want to go so badly, but our baby will be about a month old at that point. (Plus we're planning a big trip for the fall). Being a parent is already hard

So? Don't let that stop you. Babies are pretty simple at that age. They sleep 18-20 hours/day. That's an easy time to travel with them. It's once they get around a year and start walking that it gets more difficult.

I'd say that unless something is announced on this week's show (the last for the year) I'd say you won't hear anything until mid-late Jan at the absolute earliest.
They've got Christmas and New Years and their hiatus to get through and probably don't want to be organizing this stuff just yet

I didn't mean it like that. But in much seriousness, I have to give notice for any week or more vacation 6 months in advance and that happens to coming up in the next 2 weeks for this event. Just a confirmation that the july 24th week is still valid is good for now

They gave the week dates that you should keep free though right?
I think if there was a change to that, they'd have let us know by now?

It will definitely be that week. Pete was clear about that because that's the week of the actual anniversary. We've also spoken to Pete, Kevin, John, etc. at the meets this year and plans are definitely underway. They just weren't yet at a point (signed contracts and such) that they could tell us any specific details.

Thanks for adding this and confirming the date/week. We've bit the bullet and used our timeshare exchange to book a week from Friday July 22nd to Friday, July 29th - so we will definitely be there!

Not dates, not times, not events....nothing is set in stone.

It is possible that the timing mentioned is accurate, but that is not definite.

I know everyone would like a full agenda today. Unfortunately, Disney doesn't work like that and we will be dependent on what space Disney has available

With the holidays around the corner, I don't foresee any official announcement coming any time soon.

Again...I know you folks are uber planners....but none of this is fast or easy.

I hope you can be patient and we hope your patience pays off.
