Can anyone tell me the best way to get to University of Central Florida from the Disney area? We are staying in Kissimmee right off 192 west.
Thank you

I'd suggest taking 192 east to Sherberth Road, take a right onto Osceola Parkway and follow Osceola to the interchange with SR 417 (the Greeneway). Go north on 417 toward the airport but continue past the airport, staying on 417, to exit 37 - University Boulevard. Turn right onto University Blvd and continue to UCF. It's a fairly long trip from SR 192 West in Kissimmee.

I like the idea of taking the 417 to exit 37 seems very easy to follow. Mapquest has me taking I-4 then 408 to 417 but I dislike I-4. It says it takes 45 minutes. Would you say it would be longer taking the 417 all the way to exit 37 University Blvd or about the same? Thanks very much for your help.

I've gone from Orange Lake Country Club on the western part of 192 to UCF via 417 and I think that it took us about 50 minutes. There was virtually no traffic on 417 until we got near the University, so I probably could have gotten there faster if I had been more comfortable about going beyond the speed limit and had a better idea of where I was going. So 45 minutes is likely doable for that route.
