directions to HH?

We're going to Hilton Head on Friday (yippee!) but we won't be at the DVC. We go every year and stay in Sea Pines, and I've never seen the DVC. Now that we're new owners, I want to check it out while we're there!

Can anyone give me directions, or tell me how to find them, either relative to the bridge, or Sea Pines? And I'm assuming that they'll let me look around a bit if I tell them we're new owners?

If you're going on the island, from the bridge...look for signs for Shelter Cove. The Shelter Cove Mall will be on your right, then DVC is only about 1/4 mile or so, also on the right. You'll turn right at a stop light....can't remember the name of the street, but Palmetto Dunes is on the left of the intersection, and Shelter Cove/DVC is on the right. There is a small DVC sign.

The resort is located in SHelter Cove Harbour- near the Mile 8 marker after crossing the bridge. (Do not take the Toll Bridge).

As noted, it is across the main road (Rt 278) from Palmetto Dunes- just make a right turn at that light and follow the road back to Shelter Cove where you'll see a sign on the right to the bridge over to the resort itself.

Just pull up to the security gate and speak with the front desk. I'm sure they'll be happy to allow you to visit the resort abd provide information about the resort.

Thanks everybody. That would explain why I haven't just run across it either. Ever since they put in the toll bypass, we always take that, and rarely venture very far out of Sea Pines. But I'm excited to see what it's like.

This year we're with the whole family again, and so we're using the places we always go, but maybe next year when it's just our little family, it'd be time to try something new.
