directions to Encantada from Windsor Hills?

My family and I are staying at a rental home in Windsor Hills. We have extended family renting a home at the Encantada Resort. They are telling me that it will take us 30 minutes to get to them. If they are just "minutes from Disney" and we are just "minutes from Disney" how are we 30 minutes apart? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I can't find much information out about their resort and I haven't seen a map with both resorts listed. Any info would be appreciated!

Well...WDW is 56 square miles! That's one BIG place!

It's larger than the island of Manhattan (NY NY).

If you're on opposite side of the park...well..there's your answer!

Windsor Hills is 5 minutes, 2 miles, from the Disney Main Gate! Less to Animal Kingdom, more to Magic Kingdom, if that makes sense, again, it's huuuuge!

I looked up Encantada though (never heard of it before). Good news, there's no way it's 30 minutes away...I'd say 5-10 minutes at the very most.

Windsor Hills is alraedy off of Hwy 192...just close to WDW than Encantada. So...go north from Windsor Hills on Old Lake Wilson Road...you will hit US-192 (also known as Irlo Bronson Hwy). Make a left, so you're going west...rest is below from their website, it's very close by.

Directions
Take 1-4 to exit #64B. Go West on Hwy. 192 for 5.8 miles. Turn left onto Secret Lake Drive - just west of the new 429 Tollway interchange. Encantada is at the end of Secret Lake Drive.

I believe Encantada is across the street from Sunset lakes. It is minutes from WH. It should not take more then 10 minutes away.

It is indeed - however you cannot gain access to it from Funie Steed Road, the entrance is on the 192

That is good to know - we figured you could access it from right there by EI.
