Directions and best route to Trails End

We will be coming from either AK or Saratoga Springs. Which is the best method of transportation (we have a rental car) from each and directions? Thank you so much in advance!

Take the bus to MK then the boat to the campground. TE is a very short walk from the boat launch.

Thank you! Would this be the same regardless if we are coming from Saratoga Springs or AK and would it be an option to drive to the Contemporary from AK and take the boat from there?

If you have the car, why not just park at Fort Wilderness and take the internal bus to Trail's End (I believe it's the "Settlement" stop)?

No you will not be allowed to park at the CR. The lot is small and they are VERY strick on who can park there. A lot of people try to park there and go to MK.

Parking at the CR is for those that are enjoying the CR....shopping, eating, etc. Using the boat, to get to FtW, is not what they have in mind.
If you drive.....either drive to FtW and take the internal bus to TE, or park at the TTC, take the ferry over to MK and transfer to the WL/FtW boat.
If you use the bus....take the bus from AK to the CR and transfer to the boat. Or bus to WL and the. Boat to FtW.
