Hi,
I saw on another thread somebody had used these so I have just given them a ring.

I have 2 pre-exsisting conditions that need cover and last year we I paid around £300. (single trip for wdw)

Direct travel Ins have offerend me £45 for an annual :scared1: granted this is just European cover it would be £99 for world wide.

I have asked them to send me details of their policy to I can check exactly whats included.

whilst I pick myself of the floor - I was wondering has anyone any experience of dealing with them??

We used them for our last trip. Had no problems in dealing with them and the policy was underwritten by AXA.

Can't say how good they would be in the event of a claim though.

We`ve found the insurers to be much better with preexisting conditions lately.
DH has a list as long as your arm, mainly to do with a spine that`s fragile, stomach and heart problems.
Amazingly Norwich Union and M&S have both insured him with no extra, and I always make sure they know about everything!
We had a claim with Norwich Union for DD last Aug. they paid up within days.
So good luck with Direct Ins.

I always use them Helen, it might have been my post you seen, and my mum used them last year with pre exsisting conditions. She did have to make a claim, thankfully nothing to do with the illness but with a flight delay and they were very quick in responding and authorising the claim.:thumbsup2

Yes I use them all the time, fortunately I've never had to claim so don't know what they're like on that front.
The price quoted will not include pre-existing conditions though, you will have to tell them the conditions and they will re-quote.

We have used these for our past 3 world wide annual trip policies. Funnily enough we have just renewed with them today.
We had to make a claim last year and it was settled all over the phone, no forms to fill in, very quickly done.
DH has PEMC's and we were quite happy with the quote they gave us, this includes our cruise trip too.
