Really disappointed in the new "discounts". Was hoping for a firesale. Probably a good thing since I just dropped 11k on some SSR points and would go into longterm savings to buy more (not something I'm really willing to do). Yeah, I reconsider. I think it's better if they wait and hold their firesale in late 2023.
I imagine the division is judged on revenue. We see final sales and pricing, but the key measure we have no clue about is conversion. How many leads are becoming sales. And if leads are converting at a good rate with these incentives (which on the longer sweep of time, are moderate, not bad), why giveaway more revenue with larger ones?
