Direct first then resale?

I'm also thinking about adding on to my resale bought 2 years ago. I was thinking direct may be the way to go trying to have the same UY.
I'm just debating on which resort. We have BWI but was thinking of Bay Lake, Saratoga or BWI. Do you all have different resorts or all in one resort?
Trying to think of the pros and cons of having one or more home resort.

For those 3 resorts I'd only buy direct for 50 points or under and likely not even then. Since you're already qualified owning for 2 years, you don't gain anything but extra points at a potentially high price. I'd only buy the same UY and same title in MOST cases. Which one is partly dependent on what you have now and how many points you both have and plan to add.
