Direct closing costs and fees

I haven't called my guide in awhile. I remember reading a while back that DVC was charging a processing fee in addition to closing costs. Anybody know if that's still happening? How much?

The significantly higher prices for small contracts via resale tend to often make the price difference negligible if you do the math right. But, I'll probably wait and see what happens to resale prices, just in case.

I'd love to see DVC waive the closing on direct like they used to. It'd make a small add-on so painless! lol

I paid closing costs and do not recall a processing fee in December 2019. But I may have overlooked it.

My RIV contract had everything listed as closing costs. It was a little over $633 on a 175 point.

It did include a document preparation fee as part of it. Not sure if that is what you are referring to.

Yes, a document preparation fee. That did not exist when I bought a few years ago.

I bought two seperate riviera contracts last year. The 100 points no financing had $453 in closing costs and the 120 point financed contract had $614

Bought our contract in August 120 point contract Animal kingdom , the closing fees where exactly the same as resale contract we almost bought , remember points are worth money to when comparing vs resale. Disney gave us fully loaded contract 3 years of points to use.
