Direct Buses between parks?

Are there, in fact, buses that run between parks? Or do you have to transfer at a resort or DTD?

I was under the impression that one could park hop by taking a direct bus from, say, AK to MGM. But today I heard someone complaining that such buses do not exist. Surely they were wrong?

We were there 4/30-5/9 and there were buses from AK to MGM and Epcot. I also believe there are buses (and a boat?) from MGM to Epcot and vice versa. I think the only park that does not have direct bus service to other parks is MK. You used to be able to go to the TTC and get a bus to the others, not sure if you still can. But you can, of course, monorail to the TTC and then monorail to Epcot from MK.

There are no park buses from DTD.

We hopped from AK to Epcot one morning, so I KNOW it can be done between those 2.
