Direct and Resale Point Question

If I purchase 75 points direct through Disney and 250 points through resale market, both at Bay Lake Tower with same use (December), can I combine those points for use?

You can combine to book BLT at 11 months or any of the L14 at 7 months. Your resale points can never be used at Riviera or any not yet build DVC.

Yes, just make sure both are titled the same, same names and same UY.

You can combine them for use for DVC resorts. They cannot be combined for the Disney Collection, Concierge Collection, cruises, etc.

And, as stated previously, they cannot be combined for Riviera, Reflections or any resort built under the new rules.

Short answer is yes they can be for booking DVC resorts. If you ever look to book outside of DVC (almost always a poor value) then RCI exchange is the only thing they all would work for. The direct points would qualify for any/all exchanges and any new resorts.
