Can anyone tell me the diffrence between the Disney ride at Animal Kingdom vs Jurrasic Park at IOA. I have never been on the Disney one but been on the one at IOA. My mother has been on the Disney one but never on the Jurrasic Park one.

I think she is thinking that the one at IOA will be scarier than the Disney one. I have hear that Dinosaur is pretty intense and I didn't think the IOA one was that bad.

I know the drop can look steep on Jurrasic park but it was over before I could think about ..... please give me any feedback !

Dinosaur at AK is very jerky and shaky because it is in a car. Jurassic Park is in a boat, so it is not jerky. I don't find it scary at all, at one point you are in a building where dinosaurs are supposedly on the loose, and then there is a big dinosaur head that appears before the drop.

I thought it would be the opposite, but Jurassic Park is less scary than Disney's, but I enjoy Jurassic more because it doesn't jerk you around, but both are done well.

Dinosaur takes place in almost complete darkness and can be very loud at times as well.

Jurassic Park River Ride is like Splash Mountain - except most of it is outside.... there is one big drop at the end with a mean T Rex..

Dinosaur is a journey back in time to get an Iguanadon unfortunately there is an astroid about to hit the earth and destroy all life (I hate when that happens) so it is a bumpy, jerky semi roller coaster ride, dodging Dinos and Meteors to get back to the future.

Don't worry - you make it back with an additional passenger "extra large" :p

I love the security video at the end of Dinosaur where the Iguanadon is walking through the complex with guards chasing him... so cute :)

Dinosaur is more intense than JP because of the darkness and loud noises whereas JP is pretty tame in that comparrison but the drop more than makes up for that:cool:
