Dinosaur closed July 25-Sept. 29

Kenny the Pirate is reporting that Dinosaur will be closed for refurb from July 25-Sept. 29. Not happy that BTMRR and Dinosaur will both be closed for our Sept trip.

Supposedly Small World refurb has been cancelled. Just what I heard.

Looks like AK is off of our list. That's the only reason we would go to that park.

Good thing I'm going for F&W or I might be a little put out myself. I don't normally let any closures bother me, things have to be rehabed and there really isn't a time it's going to be perfect. I love BTMR and Swiss Family Treehouse, both of which will be closed while I'm there 9/13-9/18. I may end up skipping MK totally this trip since those were my biggys, it will most certainly be just a few hours for me if I do go to hop on POTC, HM, JC and maybe SDMT. They are having the halloween party as well so closing early and no wishes which is one of my favorites. I have an AP so I'm certainly not paying extra for a party just to see that. Hopefully it will be open at least one night while I'm there to see that. I don't ride Dinosaur any more because it tends to hurt my neck but that is a big one to close during prime time. Guess it just means I'll pick up a couple of more wine seminars.

Oh wow, that throws a wrench in some of our plans!!! AK really doesn't have that many rides, so this being shut down is disappointing. We will have a few days in Oct to squeeze it in if it opens back up on schedule, but dang this trip is hard to plan! Hours are all messed up, don't know when fireworks are going to be offered etc.

It needs the refurb. We went to AK three times during our 11 day trip Feb/March and never managed to be there while it was working. We were stuck in line twice for about an hour when it broke down. It got very hot in that building when the AC shut off-even though it was cool out. When they finally released us from the line, we were given any ride FP's so at least we got to ride EE again.

Yes. The park is hot as hades and none of the other rides/shows appeal to us.

It shows on Disney site when looking at the ride description of Dinosaur that it will be closed for refurb July 25th- September 29th... But when looking at it's a small world it does not reference any closing. Just for those worried.
