We have ADR at 7:20 pm in April at CG. How is the timing for viewing HEA at CG?
Thank you for the info.

In the off chance you get a table by a MK facing window, this should be perfect for the scheduled 8:55/9pm fireworks. But, if you're seated somewhere else, you should be able to go watch the fireworks (if you're still dining at 9) and then come back to your table. At our evening dinner at CG, they sat us in the back room. At first I was really disappointed, until I realized we got to watch the distant Epcot fireworks from our table, followed by watching Wishes/now HEA from the balcony.

Thank you. Will they try to rush us out before 9pm?

Others may have different experiences, but I did not at all feel rushed at CG. In fact, had I been in a hurry (I wasn't), I would've felt held-up. It was a relaxed-pace meal with plenty of time for conversation in between courses. Something I think one would expect at a nicer, fine dining establishment.

We have never been rushed there. We usually try and get our ADR about an hour before fireworks ( we are usually there about 2 hours total). Personally, I prefer to go outside on one of the two decks to watch the fireworks instead of staying at the table (even the window view) They have music inside and on the decks. The servers are very good about pacing the meal around fireworks. The last time, he held the entrees until after we were back at our table after the fireworks were over.
Hope you enjoy.

We have a 7:20 at CG in April also! We are hoping to see the fireworks. We ate at CG last year, earlier though. We didn’t stay for fireworks, but I would say the meal was close to 2 hours. I try to make earlier reservations at Signature restaurants since we bring our two young boys. They are relatively well behaved, but the 2 hour meals can be tough. I found Cali Grill to be pretty loud and bustling, so this year I went for a bit of a later resi and am hoping we will be able to see the fireworks. If not we should just be wrapping up our meal, we will probably just hang until fireworks time, the view from CG is amazing!

That is great. Thank you for the info. I have read that CG's CMs do well interacting with children. Enjoy...
