We love to go to Studios but not crazy about any of the resturants. Any ideas we can go for dinner and come back without taking several busses?

Anywhere in the Epcot resort area. Includes the Swan/Dolphin if you don't have the dining plan, and anything at Yacht/Beach or Boardwalk. Access is by boat or walking path - no buses.

The Fountain at the Dolphin is one of our favorites for the exact same reason. Also, the Captain's Galley at the Yacht Club or even ESPN works out fine also. All of these choices are accessible by boat or you could walk to them. Have fun. We are going on May 3rd and can't wait!!!

We love the Cape May Cafe and plan to eat dinner there on one of our DHS days.

We usually have dinner on the boardwalk on our DHS night because I'm not fond of any of the options there and having lunch in the park is more than enough. We've done ESPN Club in the past and really enjoyed it, but on our next trip we're giving Flying Fish a try.

Rest assured, you have many options for dining near DHS.

Check the menus on WDWinfo.com for:

-All restaurants at the Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan, & Dolphin resorts.

-In addition, the Boardwalk area offers: Spoodles (soon to be changing their name I think?), Flying Fish, ESPN Club, & Big River Brewery. If you are looking for a quick bite, Spoodles has a pizza take out window & it's ACTUAL pizza slices-not generic WDW-style pizza. The Boardwalk Bakery might also sell quick sandwiches.

-Also, if you feel like taking a healthy walk or taking the boat transportation from DHS, head over to Epcot's World Showcase for a whole slew of more dining options (you will need to have park hopper tickets to enter Epcot though)

Have fun choosing!! :goodvibes

We loved eating at the Cape May Cafe's buffet. Excellent food! Nice atmosphere. The Yacht Club/Beach Club is a really beautiful resort. We have also been to ESPN (only for appetizers), its your typical bar type food. ESPN does not take reservations, and that worries me because we usually go during Peak Times. Perhaps you'd like to try Spoodles (At the Boardwalk), before it changes to something else!

While I second the boat to the Epcot area resorts - any resort will involve one bus there and one bus back. So, I guess it depends what you're in the mood for that night. Depending on the time of year you're going, DHS sometimes closes fairly early - we sometimes go to dinner after the park closes when we travel off season.

Take the boat over to the Swan/Dolphin and you can have a great Italian Dinner at Il Mulino's or an amazing Steakhouse experiance at Shula's Steakhouse or for something more casual give the Fountain a try. Then just take the boat back to the Studios.
