Dinner with Imagineer!!!

I'm so excited. I just booked the dinner with an imagineer at the Brown Derby. Has anyone done that and can tell me a little something about it. THe Cm on the phone didn't seem to know too much.

We did this on October 29, 2003 and it was the highlight of our 8 day trip. Mike West was our Imagineer and the conversation and time just flew.

The meal was excellent. The Brown Derby management and staff bent over backwards to please. The wine pairings were optional last year with dinner, but are now included. Don't be shy about asking for a little more pouring in your glass or an additional taste.

We enjoyed this so much that I have booked it again for our upcoming trip. The way our schedule is, we are doing lunch this time.

To those of you out there trying to make a reservation, you need to keep trying and seek out the right CM at 407-wdw-dine. Some of them simply have no experience booking this. I had one two days ago that flat out insisted that I really meant to book the Fantasmic Dinner Package. I ended up hanging up and calling again to get someone who knew what I was talking about. Also, the downloads for April were late this month. I think I ended up getting my booking 27 days out when it should have been available 30 days out.

Keep trying! It is so worth the money and experience!

sounds like fun! They have discontinued the meal with a Disney artist, right?

We did dinner on a wed night. It was one of 2 nights during the week that they offered ( I think the other night was Monday night). IT cost $99/pp and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
