I am thinking of trying one of the dinner shows on our next trip (June 5-9) but I have no clue which one.

Hoop Dee Doo...many of you rave about this one. Where does it take place? What is the entertainment like?

Mickey's Backyard BBQ...same as above.

Spirit of Aloha...same, of course!

Any input at all would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I can only give you a review on Hoop dee Doo, we love it the corny jokes and all the food is decent not great but its alot of fun. Its over at the Fort Wilderness Campground we go every time we go. We use to do the Luau but it had gone down hill and we stopped going and none of the reviews I've read have made me want to go back.

spirit of aloha was at the poly. and our group really enjoyed it salad was exc. ribs and chicken wonderful. Adults love des. kids picky. They invited kids up to hula and had a little story theme going on like a family style luao from what I remember. It was also family style.

mickeys bbq
was buffet loud and active.
Food was good character interaction was good. Servers were very accomidating as well as hostess and host. My kids are shy and still loved dancing with the characters. It is not nec. a place to go for a relaxing meal if you don't mind loud fun and chaotic you would probably enjoy it.

We enjoyed both equally for very different reasons.
We are hoping to try hoop de doo in the future.

Let us know what u choose.

I loved the Luau, the food was OK, the entertainment was good, I might not want to do it twice. If you do the late show you can use the DDE as well.
