Dinner show questions!

Hi everyone! Planning a trip Sept 2010 and thinking about doing something different than what I did this trip for TS. I was wondering, what are the dinner shows like (Spirit of Aloha, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, and I think there is something else at the Wilderness Lodge - just can't remember the name). Which one would you recommend for a 10, 8 and 2 year old? Also, can you use TS credits on the dining plan or do you have to pay OOP for these?

Our family went last yr to the Aloha show...very nice..fun...great food..service was great too. We had older daughters (they liked the guy dancers lol)...used 2 table service for each person.

I would be interested in hearing about the other shows as well

The best dinner show in WDW is located at Fort Wilderness and is called The Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

You can use 2 table service credits to get tier 2 or 3 seating but to me this is not a very wise use of 2 DDP credits, we always pay out of pocket to get tier 1 seating.

This is a really fun show, we have done The Backyard BBQ and the Luau and neither come close to the Hoop!

Another vote for the HDDR. It is a great Western themed dinner show held at Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness. It is all you care to eat "down home" ribs, fried chicken, corn bread and salad. Beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks are included.
The show is full of singing, dancing and lots of "corny"jokes. There is also audience participation.
We love the Hoop Dee Doo Review and will be heading back again.
By the way, we are paying OOP for Tier 1 seats as well.

How much is tier 1 seats compared to the other sections....and its just the better view right?

This show is extremely popular and will book up, so if you are interested book early and have back up nights in mind when you call.

We did HDDR with DH and friends. We loved it and would go back again.
