dinner seating?

Do you always sit with other people? We are a family of 4 and although we are social people, we were wondering if it's odd to be eating at a table with strangers right off the bat? Is it possible to just sit as a family?

If you want a table for 4 let your travel agent know. You can sit by yourselves if you want to. We have sat alone and by ourselves. Enjoyed dining both ways

As a family of 4, you might sit alone, but if you definitely prefer to sit alone, make the effort ahead of time to let DCL know. Call DCL reservations and have them note your request on your account. You can also make dining request changes as soon as you board.

Never have had (or have been-I hope) the tablemates from "Heck". We really enjoy dinning with other families. It gives you time to get to know others better than just chatting before a show or around the pool for a little while. It's amazing how much we have in common with total strangers (well they are only strangers for the first night, then they become friends). And thats is what the world needs - more people connected with one another!

I was suprised that we sat alone on our trip a couple of weeks ago. We are a family of only three and we were sat at our own table with JoJo as our waiter. It was nice to spend dinners focused on our family instead of small talk with others.

As a couple, we have always been seated at a table for eight on all of our previous cruises.

But on this last trip, we requested a seating change from Late to Early dinning. The three of us sat alown at a table for four, and I was suprised to see just how many tables for 4 were available.

We've always enjoyed our table mates and prefered that over sitting alone this last time.

We've been twice with our family of 4. Had a table for 4 both times. In fact, we had the same table both times!
