We are in the same boat but we will still sit at the restaurants and eat despite not wanting to be seated with others. If it happens it happens. I would prefer a private table and I'm going to do everything I can to get a private table but from what I understand on the Wish getting a private table is not really a private table as all tables are kind of close together. You have a better chance of getting a more secluded table to yourselves if you ate at second dining. At least that's what I'm told.

I have only been on The Magic and The Dream so I don't know about The Wish.

Is there a line built-up at 1 o'clock for people trying to make changes? Just trying to plan this out so I'm not arriving with the hallway full of people ready to make changes.
It is going to depend on your sailing. Arrive when you feel is best
There could be. I encountered a small line when I was on the Wish in April 2023. I think they let people into Luna early and just had them 'line' up in seats (which I appreciated, as I don't do well with standing). If you're realllllly set on making dining changes, then plan to get there before 1.
We went on a 3 and 4 day B2B cruise on the Wish. The 1st cruise we had 3 people and the 2nd cruise we had just my daughter and myself. We never sat with anyone else...we were always seated at a table by ourselves, and we never asked for this. I think they try to do that if they can.
I think the default is to put smaller group at shared tables, not by themselves. It's surprising you got private tables both times without asking (moreso for the group of 2 than 3).
We have never been given a private table when requested, but every other time on the Dream and Fantasy they switched us then to a private table. This time they said the ship was full and no changes could be made, but to refresh your app at 4:30 to see if we got a new table. For more information- we are a table of 2, late sitting, and were first in line requesting changes to late seating private table. There were two other groups in front of us at Triton's requesting private table for early seating and were told the same thing as us. 
WAs Dining Changes in Triton's on the Wish? It's been Luna in the past, curious if this was a one-time thing or if they've moved it.Update from Recent Wish sailing 7/19-22:
Requested private table.
Went to Triton's at 12:30 on embarkation day to check on the reservation to see if we had a private table. We did not. Again
4:30 came and went, no changes to our table. Lots of people missed this cruise do to the first day being Friday the day of the Crowdstrike computer problems and flights being canceled (were told from staff between 10-20% of guests couldn't make the cruise).
Went to dinner at Marvel at 8:15 and at the entrance asked again about a private table and they found one for us
Yaa. So all hope is not lost if you don't get a private table right away or even after asking the first time. Try try again.
