Anyone have any input on which is better experience & food: Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner or Sea World's Luau? We are not doing too many dinners at Disney as we really have to watch our $$ this trip but I do want to plan on 2 really nice dinners and thought one of these luau type dinners might be a lot of fun for our last night!

What do you think??

We've done the Disney's Poly Luau twice now, I can't compare it to the Sea World luau, but I can tell you we enjoyed the Disney one enough to go back on our 2nd trip in year 2 with the kids and do it again, they all had a great time!

It's a very interactive, fun show with audience involvement, the kids just loved it! The last time my 7 yo DS had to go up on stage and grab a "leaf" from the Maori warrior, he thought it was the coolest thing ever! hehe

I don't have any experience with either one, but I just saw that the Orlando MagiCard (sp?) offers $5 off pp for the Sea World Dinner.

Haven't been to either but check around for tickets for Sea World. Ticketmania has for $39.50, AAA 10% off. May even do better than that...

Dsis and family did the WDW one.....her comments...it was nice, the girls enjoyed it but would have preferred some characters, food was okay but not worth the price (and they were on ddp). She said they would not do it again.

Dsil booked for her and business associates to go to the one at Sea World. She said they all had a wonderful time and felt it was very much worth the money.

I'm thinking we might try the Sea World luau this time!! Luv Dis but thinking having a night/dinner at Sea World might be a a nice change...plus read on another posting that after dinner is over you can stay and enjoy the park til it closes at no additional cost. I have to call and verify that but if so I think that's definitely what well try to do! Now just have to find a good price....

$6 shipping charge would have been better off with aaa 10%
i DO recommend ticketmania because.. i didn't trust giving them my cc# on the phone and i chose to call them, well he can give you the ticket # right then and i called and made ressies for the luau with the ticket #'s she said your the first on our may day and front row...woohoo
i did LOVE the poly 1 but since we are at the nick it's just easier..

leanne...thanx so much for the link for tickets! I was having a hard time finding discount tix for the dinner. However I just tried the link and it's not working?? I will try again or just call and see what price they give me. Hopefully we can score great seats like your family did! ENJOY!!

Done both... didn't like either one. Hoop Dee Doo was better (Sorry!)
