Hello!

The wedding is getting closer and I am just a hot ball of mess. We are having our ceremony at 2:00pm on 5.25.14 and then the reception at the Living Seas.

1. We thought we had to have a dinner reception and we just found out we can have a lunch! horray for saving some money!

2. What is the difference between having a lunch and dinner other than the price point? I can't seem to find a menu just for lunch. Do we have to stick to only lunch?

3. Our planner is suggesting we have a buffet. I personally do not like buffets, anyone think a plated lunch is to much for the living seas? anyone with experience?

4. AHHHHHHHHH.

Thank you!
Liz

#2) DFTW menus are completely customizable—it doesn't matter what time of day it is. You can serve pheasant under glass for brunch and pigs in blankets for dinner if you want, as long as you meet the minimum expenditure that matches your ceremony time.

#3) If I'm understanding this question correctly, usually when a venue is buffet-only it's because it's too far from a kitchen, not because the venue isn't fancy enough for a plated meal. So if a plated menu is allowed at your venue and that's what you want, go for it. :thumbsup2
