Dinner: Concourse or Coral Reef?

We have CR booked but I'm thinking of changing it because Concourse will be easier to get to (from WL) and we've been there several times and always enjoy the food. Is CR a must-do? I've heard some negative reviews recently and we would be going to Epcot just for the meal and then leaving so I can't decide if it's really worth the effort.

Coral Reef was my favorite meal during our last trip with great service and food. My 5 year old DD also loved seeing all the fish so I have it booked again this year.

I just noticed that you are Fionasmommy, our DD is also a Fiona.

'Saved CR for our last night, hoping that it would be a great way to end a great trip. Our server was inattentive and my steak was not good. I think I substituted potatoes for something. They were WONDERFUL but barely there. We were so far from the aquarium that I had to keep reminding my kids to look at the fish. My husband enjoyed his meal very much. We ordered the Chocolate Wave and the Bailey's / Jack Daniel's mousse and both DEFINITELY had alcohol in them. The menu stated clearly that they had alcohol but I was suprised at how much I could really taste it. I'm sure the lack of service was affected by our late ADR but that shouldn't be an excuse. Our favorite meal by far was Ohana. If you haven't tried it, go for it. Request a table by the window and watch Wishes. Magical!!!

IMO, Coral Reef is a must-do (great seafood and great non-seafood food as well!). The atmosphere can't be beat! The Concourse Steakhouse is (IMO of course) an average steakhouse. I've been there before and have never been impressed with the cuts of meat that we've received.
