Dinner choices? Teppan Edo, Cape May or Kona Cafe

Staying at the BC -- need to narrow the choice down to two, which would you pick and why (Teppan Edo, Cape May or Kona Cafe). I'm on the basic dining plan -- have tried Cape May (and like); never been to the others.

Haven't been to Cape May or Kona but we love Teppan Edo. Its a typical Japanese steakhouse, cook at your table but the food is good quality.

Since you're staying at the BC, I'd book Cape May just for convenience. It's nice to come back to your resort after a day in the parks and just relax and not have to travel to dinner.

Since you're torn between the other two, I'd base it on location. Do you want to travel all the way to the Poly when you're so close to Epcot? I try to dine near my resort whenever possible. I hate wasting time in transit.

Or do you plan to spend the day at MK then head to the Poly for dinner?

They're all good restaurants, just base it on your schedule.

I say Cape May and Kona because we have amazing hibachi places locally that give you alot more for your buck

Been to all Teppen Edo hands down. It's good food & fun.

My vote is for Kona Cafe. Although I will say that most of the reviews I've seen of Teppan Edo are very good. Here's the but though - portions I've been told are smaller than what you would normally get at a regular Hibachi restaurant for the price and it's only really worth it if you're on the DDP.

My vote is for Kona and Cape May. I have never been to either, but have been to TeppanEdo. Do you have Japanese Steakhouses where you live? If so, then you have already eaten at TeppanEdo. You probably left with more money in your pocket and less room in your belly too. Good food, but REALLY not worth the money. (or TS credit)
