Dinner Choice Opinion

I'm having a hard time choosing between these 2 restaurants.

If you could choose either, would you pick Yachtsman Steakhouse or 'Ohana for dinner? :confused3

I know they are probably totally different types of food but this is my last night of trying to pick an ADR & these are the ones I've narrowed it down to. We already have ressies at Le Cellier & Narcoossee's, so wondering if I should skip the steak place & try 'Ohana.

Haven't been to 'Ohana (have an ADR for our next trip though:thumbsup2), but I definitely would go there over Yachtsman.

Yachtsman is supposed to be a signature, but we had terrible service there, were snarked at by the host and rushed through the meal. My NY strip tasted like pork...don't know if it's how they aged it or what.

Honestly, neither. There are far far far better dining options at WDW than these 2 that you could easily skip them both and not miss them.

'Ohana is just plain awful. I don't get the hype and how people claim it to be so amazing. The pot stickers and side dishes all taste like it's right out of your local supermarket freezer section, the meat and poultry are tough, overcooked and bland, the service the last couple of times has been terrible, the emcee woman is so loud and obnoxious that it becomes intrusive on your meal. It has become an unbearable dining experience.

Yachtsman is not as bad as 'Ohana, but it's not any better than a decent local steakhouse. We would rather have dining experiences that are different then what we can find pretty easily at home.

What are some of your other ADR's besides Le Cellier & Narcoossee's so that maybe we can find a better suggestion for you.

We have ADRs at Chef Mickey's, Cape May Cafe (bfast), Le Cellier, Hollywood & Vine, Sci-Fi, 'Ohana (bfast), Narcoossee's, Tusker House, Liberty Tree, Crystal Palace, San Angel Inn, Rose & Crown, 1900 Park Fare, Rest. Marrakesh & Chefs de France.
We like food, lol. :thumbsup2
Any opinions are welcome. I have 3 more dinners to pick. :confused3
Need 1 to not be in a park but the other 2 are open to pretty much anything!

I would like to add to it that I would choose Yachtsman over either Le Cellier or Narcoossee's but then again that may just complicate things even more.

I would absolutely add Flying Fish Cafe to your list, it is by far one of our favorite meals on property. We have never had anything less then a great meal there.

What about either Boma or Jiko for dinner? Boma is a pretty good buffet with a lot to offer and Jiko is a great signature (I'm still heart broken about them no longer serving the ostrich appitizer). It also gives you a chance to explore the AKL which is a beautiful resort with a lot to see if you have not visited it yet. Sanaa (Kidani) is another good choice in that area. It's Indian food with African flare and you hardly ever see a bad review.

For a park meal, The Plaza is pretty good. It's mostly sandwiches and such but it is pretty cost effective. It usually doesn't take as much time as most other TS restaurants but gives you more of a break than a CS restaurant. It works great for either lunch or dinner.

You can check out the menus on allears.net to give you an idea of what these places have to offer.

Le Cellier was DH's only request, lol. So that is my CP package ressie.
Narcoossee's is a personal pick, we had our wedding night dinner there, so it's kind of a tradition.
DH also brought up Boatwright's since we will be staying at POR but I'm thinking Boma instead.
