dinner before Cirque du Soleil La Nouba?

We are a party of four adults who will be seeing the show at 9, and want to make PS for dinner before hand. It's our Grown Up Night out -- the babies are being left with babysitter.

Any advice about:

timing for PS? I don't know what type of turnover, etc., there is at the restaurants so don't want to make one too early / too late.

restaurant? and favorite dish?

I don't think any of the restaurants on the West Side of DTD take PS's. Do you want to eat close to LaNouba? Or are you willing to eat else where and just head over to West Side for the show?

House of Blues is right across from the Cirque, Wolfgang Puck is a little down from there. Both are "adult" places. I've never eaten at House of Blues or upstairs at WP. I've eaten downstairs which is more casual and it was good.

I would say Fulton's Crab House. It's not a long walk to Cirque Du Solei and if you had reservations for 7.00 p.m. you would have plenty of time. FCH takes bookings 30 days in advance.

Can't help much with the timing, as I've never done La Nouba.
But Portobello Yacht Club would be my choice. Very "adult" and good food. You can call them direct (not WDW-DINE) up to 30 days out for reservations-the # is 407-934-8888.

My DW and I did an "adults" weekend based around La Nouba in March. We also were attending the 9pm show. We made a PS at Yachtsmen Steakhouse at 6:15. It worked out perfect as we were done eating just after 8pm.

DF and I are also seeing the 9PM "La Nouba" show, and we thought we'd give WP's Upstairs dining a spin. Any reviews on this place? I peeked at the menu, and the choices looked a bit "upscale" for my TGI Friday's and Bennigan's tastes, but I'm very much up for a culinary challenge! ;-)
