Our registration window opened last night and I was able to get everybody registered, picked a boarding time, and made a Palo reservation but I didn't see any information about our main dining time (not Palo) and attire for dinner. Am I supposed to see anything on the registration page or was I supposed to go to a specific page to see it?

I'm guessing we don't have to wear a tux but can someone confirm what we should be wearing to dinner in the main dining room? I called previously and confirmed that another room is linked with my reservation and we'll be sitting together without anybody else sharing our table but no mention of attire.

Your online reservation information page should say which seating you have.

Thanks for the links but I noticed that it discusses the shortest cruise on that website for 3 nights. Our cruise is the cruise to no where in San Diego and it's only a 2 night cruise so do we have pirates night or dressy night? :confused3

Also, it lists Palo there but it says slacks and optional jacket. I'm assuming this is for dinner. We have brunch reservation and my thought is, brunch shouldn't need slacks. I'm probably going to go with some nice jeans and a polo shirt. Do you guys think that'll be ok?

No idea about a 2 night cruise.

There is no distinction between Brunch or Dinner for the Palo dress code, it is the same for both. Jeans are not permitted.

I believe the dress code for Palo is for dinner or brunch. I wouldn't risk being sent back to your room to change.

Oh?! I didn't realize that there was no distinction. Glad I asked because I wasn't planning on bringing dress attire. I guess I will need to at least bring one set of nice dress shoes and slacks and a polo for business casual dining.

Does the main dining require such a "formal" dress up or can I go in jeans to that? I would prefer flip flops, jeans, and a t-shirt. Can I get away with that? Will I be turned away or stared at?

The only clothing not allowed in the MDRs are tank tops and swim wear. Jeans are fine.

sorry for this stupid question, but what about sundresses type (if tank tops are not allowed) Thank You, this is my first ever cruise and I'm starting to get my outfits together.

Not stupid at all. I think the tank tops they are referring to are the "wife beater" types on men. Sundresses are fine. :)

Yes, sundresses are fine, and you could even go strapless, but the dining rooms are rather chilly so you might want to take a cardigan.

Dress Code
At Palo, dress pants and a shirt are required for men (jacket is optional) and a dress or pantsuit is required for women. Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes.

I take this to mean dress pants and a dress shirt, since they mention that the jacket is optional. Which, in my mind means no polo shirts. Am I wrong?

Dress pants and a polo shirt are fine for brunch. For dinner I have seen most men in a button up dress shirt with or without a tie.
