Would love to hear from anyone who has had dinner at CRT. We have done breakfast twice and will be doing it again this year. But we also thought about doing dinner there one night. Torn between dinner at CRT or Mickey's BBQ. Any opinions?

Our family had CRT Dinner in 2006 and really enjoyed it. The menu appears to be very similar to what we had. I love the atmosphere of eating in the castle and the short show with the fairy godmother, suzzy, and perla. We felt the food was excellent with a non-rushed atmosphere. We have an ADR for breakfast and dinner for our upcoming trip in April 2008. I hope you enjoy!:)

We just had dinner at CRT this past Tuesday. Overall we really enjoyed it. The food was much better than anticipated (based on reviews). Unfortunately, based on the price, you don't get a lot of character interaction for your dollar. We arrived about 10 minutes before our ADR and it took over 25 minutes to check-in. There was a HUGE mass of people around the check-in stand (no a line). Once inside, we got in line to meet Cinderella. All week we had great photographers, but this one was in a big hurry. I wasn't very pleased with pics and DD3 didn't have much of a chance to talk to Cinderella. After we made it upstairs, our service and meal were excellent. We didn't have much of a view of the Fairy Godmother show (ask for a table in the center of the restaurant). The Fairy Godmother and mice were very rushed...no autographs. They hardly paused for pics. With that said, our daughter loved it! She loved being in the caslte, seeing Cinderella/Fairy Godmother/Mice. They gave her a magic wand at check-in. So, I say go - but with realistic expectations. Definitely arrive early for your ADR. It's not everyday you get the chance to eat inside the castle! princess:

We did dinner there about 3 weeks ago. We were a group of 6 adults, and it was just the right amount of character interaction for us, we really didn't want that much since we just wanted to eat in the castle. I planned our reservation for just before the fireworks, so we had a 7:45 reservation and checked in at 7:30. We were waiting in the castle area for over an hour before that since I knew they would eventually block off access to the castle to get ready for the fireworks. They made us wait inside the castle halls after a certain time since they had to do fireworks testing.

We could have checked in earlier than we did, but we were waiting for one more member of our party to arrive from the airport. Once we did check in, we had to wait a while since Cinderella was on her break. Once she returned, the photos didn't take too long. We were called in for our seating at 7:55 and were given a wonderful spot next to the window. At 8:00 the fireworks began and we had a fantastic view. They dimmed the lights in the restaurant and played the music to the fireworks show. Our server said he would return to take our orders after the fireworks if we wanted, which we did. It was absolutely the most special night of our entire trip. I could see that if you were going with children you might want a little more interaction than I noticed in the room from the characters, but for 6 adults, we were more than satisfied.
