How do you have time to do both, without the package? Now that one of my sons is an "adult" for dining purposes, the price of the Fantasmic dinner package is just too high for us. Any suggestions?

Do lunch at Sci-Fi or Prime Time, have a big meal with dessert and have a counter service dinner (turkey leg, pizza, burger, sandwiches, etc.) That way you get the best of both worlds and lunch is cheaper than dinner!

We didn't have a problem on our last trip and we did not use the package. We ate dinner at 50's PTC at 5:30 and were out the door by 7pm. We strolled over to the ampitheater and got seated around 7:30. Show started at 8:00. I don't see how it is difficult to do both?

although we always do the FDP i have read suggestions of having a big lunch and then getting to the ampitheatre early and getting "dinner" (think ballpark food!) while holding your seats for the show... if we cannot get a time we want for the FDP it is what we may do...
