I've heard mention of the Dinner and Dreams package that gives you VIP viewing of Dreams. Where can I find out which restaurants offer this, menus and prices? Also do you think it will still be offered in October? Thanks:thumbsup2

Carrie_Cat posted a thread on it a while back - I will see if I can find it and bump it up.

We did the meal at Walts on our trip the other week. The menu is set and tbh quite limited but we really wanted to do the roped off spot as the advantage of not queuing for a good while to get a good spot appealed to us.

It was 40 euros per adult and 20 euros per child. I will post photos on the Walts restaurant review thread shortly. I think the other restaurant offering the meal is The Silver Spur Steakhouse but it was closed during June.

However, having said all that, at the moment they are saying the meals will only run until end September. Not sure what will happen after that :confused3.

If you want to do this as a whole experience or for ther dining then ignore me....... BUT! If it is because you are worried you won't see dreams very well, then perhaps you are worrying unnecessarily.

I stood right next to the roped off area a fortnight ago to watch dreams and i turned up at 10:50pm. I never had aproblem turning up a few minutes before and getting a good spot - and I didn't push in or encroach on anyone elses space to do so.

We wanted to eat at Walts anyway and yes, while I probably wouldn't have chosen to eat what we did, we really wanted the wristbands for the roped area and did enjoy the meal.

We watched Dreams two other nights and although we walked around from much earlier on, we, imo, never found as good a spot. It might have been because there were 4 of us (with 2 pushchairs one of the nights), so couldn't squeeze in somewhere, or maybe we were just unlucky with the crowds but for my children to see properly they needed to be up on a pavement, a bit higher up - the roped off area was perfect for us and there was only about a dozen people in it which made it even better. And yes, the CMs did keep people from standing right in front of the roped off area.

I wouldn't hesitate to do the meal again if we get the chance in November but I don't think it will be offered then :sad2:. I'd also love to do the California Grill VIP Dreams meal, but just DH and myself as it's almost 200 euros!
