Dining with kids...

I agree with a few of the posters re: traveling to meals especially with little kids. this year we are staying at Poly so our options have opened up a bit, but I'm still planning some character meals around which park we are in to eliminate traveling back and forth.

We did GF Cinderella's Gala feast without to much fuss once, we headed straight from park and the other tiem we did go back to CSR to change and then just took bus to monorail. I think Chef Mickey's or Ohana breakfast would also be doable first thing in AM.

No matter what planning is key when you have little kids, don't plan something for smack in middle of the day and think they'll want to leave.

We are going in May, and taking a 4 and 5 year old. We decided to go with the DDP, as we love to dine out. DS is a great eater. I think that we will get our moneys worth!

We are tryin it on our trip, and I was sure to plan all our meals at or close to the parks except our last one is a late reservation at DTD. But I plan to be back at the hotel for a bit, then go to the meal.

We always do a TS a day because we like to sit down for dinner each evening. As others have said, character meals are nice for everyone. I've also found Disney restaurants are a lot better experiences for kids than are most restaurants elsewhere.
