We took DD to Disney last year and a few months prior we found out that she was allergic to peanuts and we have been keeping her away from tree nuts as well.
So we did not have any problems last year. However, since we've come back I have been educating myself more and more about her allergy. I have found that buffets are NOT a good idea with an allergy as cross contamination may occur. Last time we did buffet style chef's walked me around and pointed out what was ok, what was not. But in hindsight how do I know someone didn't use the tong used for an unsafe dish on the safe chicken nuggets?
So do you think it would be too much to ask the chefs if they could make a special meal for DD?
Also, we are scheduled for Le Celier, do they have items like chicken nuggets, do you think they will accommodate her?
Finally, what should I do @ CS meals? We stuck to the chicken nugget, pizza, pasta, but I just feel uncomfy because I did not prepare it.
I have also heard that Disney has a new system with FA, is this true?
