Dining walk ups?

I could only get a second seating on an upcoming trip in Jan. I will definitely keep checking and also try when we board but.....

Can you just walk up and try to get a seat during main dining? I am sure not everyone shows up to eat in the dining room right?

I don´t think so,you will have a table and rotation assigned to you.

No you can not. You will have a rotation and a seating table assigned to you upon check-in. You can request then to have your assignment changed. If they can not do it, then you will have to eat at second seating. The tables are all "reserved" and they do not allow for walk-ups like a typical resturant. You can always eat at one of the buffets or counter service places if you don't want to wait for your assigned sit-down seating.

Think of it this way: If it's not too late for you to show up and get a table unannounced, then it's not too late for the people who the table is reserved for to show up either.

You can not just walk up but when you board you can put a request in for 1st dining many will be changing. Also put the request in now by phone

You can go to the buffet for dinner. It's set up for sit-down dining for dinner, with food available from the different dining rooms on the menu.

Call now and get put on the waitlist for main dining. We got switched after a few months. This will give you the greatest chance of getting it changed.
