Dining Time for CRT... which is better?

I currently have two reservations for CRT one at 5:30 and the other 6:45.... trying to decide what time is "better" We usually go to the park in the AM and head back to the hotel rest/swim in the afternoon.... was leaning towards the 5:30. Coming from AOA how early would I have to head back? Thoughts? I have a 2.5 and 5 year old...

I would think 6:45 is better so you can have time to get back to the hotel and relax and swim before you have to rush back. Maybe the kids can nap. I would allow an hour for bus wait, travel, then getting into park and walking to castle. Hope this helps some.

Personally with little kids, I like 5:30, but if you are trying to head back after a nap, it might be difficult to make. I would try and leave at least an hour to get back, but I' don't know transportation from AoA and it might be different in the middle of the day.

Kids are going to probably get hungry by 5:00 so depending on what time they are used to eating you should probably plan closer to that. You should leave an hour early. That will give you time to get there and hang a bit. The crowds are thinner during those times so it shouldn't take long to get over there. This is a huge meal experience with lots of character interaction so take that into consideration with the young ones too.

For us, the kids wouldn't be able to handle a late dinner, and by 6:45pm there are likely to be seating delays.

Remember too that there is a line to get in for that Cinderella meet and greet. It may delay things a bit.
