Could someone please point me to the thread where folks are discussing the peak season dining surcharges (if any) for 2011? I know that the week of February 17 has the surcharge for the DDP, but I need to understand better when the higher prices apply for non-DDP folks, and how much money we're talking about. I've done a search, but none of the threads I found had answers (they had only the question), so perhaps the answer is that there is no answer. :goodvibes

AFAIK, Disney has stopped publishing the dates for the peak dining charges. You can make an educated guess that it's generally the same dates as the peak DDP prices, but it might not be exact. And it's usually about $4 more/adult for the fixed price meals (so buffets and AYCE places - not regular TS menus).

As mentioned, Disney does not advertise, nor publish dates, but there is a way to find out:

Book an online ADR for CRT, and do so for 2 different dates - peak and non-peak. You will get the actual price of your meal, and can cancel right before it asks for payment. You can compare prices this way. Works every time!

Good luck, Tiger :)
