Dining Solo

I've eaten twice solo at 50s Prime Time. In my experience there, they didn't do any of the "antics" until after I made a little joke (like "How's Grandma doing with that Chicken Pot Pie today?") As far as walk-ups vs. ADRs, anytime I went to a restaurant right at opening time, they had no trouble "squeezing me in", like I only had to wait about 5 minutes. I've never had the GF tea solo, but I know other solos who have, and they liked it. As I think of it, I should go there solo sometime.

Thanks for the response! That's what I've read about dining solo at PT..maybe they don't want to single you out to the rest of the restaurant being solo? I will save that for a trip w/friends or family.

Every time I've eaten at R&C, I walked up for a table of 2 & had to wait no longer than 10-15 minutes which I can deal with (especially for the fireworks view)! The way I see it, if they cannot accomodate me as a walk up, no sweat. I don't mind eating QS ever & I have my favorites at each park to choose from. :)

If you do the GF Tea solo, let me know what you think!

Hey guys,
so a little off topic, would it be real weird to have a solo dine at Victoria and Albert's? I have always wanted to go there and not for the romantic side, but more for the experience.:confused3 Would love to go there:cloud9:

I have a table booked solo for Victoria and Albert's in November for my third solo F&W Festival trip. I've eaten at similar places (Eleven Madison Park in NYC, for example). V&A's isn't as nice as EMP, but it should still be awesome.

These places are pricy. You pay for the experience, not the food really, although the food is usually pretty fantastic.
