I am so appreciative of all the help that I received from this board making all of the decisions for the PS's we made, I wanted to give my 2-cents regarding the restaurants we ate at. 1st of all let me say - we really enjoyed everything! All of the choices we good and we truely had a magical time. It was just me, my DH and DD6 and we stayed at the WL (what a gorgeous place)!

Day 1:
Rainforest Cafe (lunch) - We were seated in about 10 minutes for our 12:00 reservation. I had the quesadilla, DH had the portebella mushroom sandwich (two thumbs up), and DD had chicken fingers kids meal. Dd also had one of those big slushy drinks in the souvenier mug (a real pain transporting this huge thing for the rest of the day  ) All meals recieved good reviews and the atmosphere was really relaxing and kept you in the "animal" mood. Food - B+; Atmoshpere - A-

Whispering Canyon (Dinner) - We were seated right away for a 6:00 PS. We were right in the action and had a wonderful time. Everyone was pretty tired after all the travel and a full day at AK but the antics really woke us up. DH had to perform for us with all the other DH (can't believe I forgot my camera for that one)! My daughter brought her favorite stuffed cat and the waiter took it outside several times for "walking." Straws, bandanas, and napkins everywhere. The food was very good. I really loved the pork chops, DH really liked his vegtable pasta dish, and the mac and cheese got a thumbs up from DD (although she didn't need any catsup :( ) Food - A; Atmosphere A+

Day 2
Pecos Bill (Lunch) - Way, way, way too crowded. It took us over 45 minutes to get our burgers! They we OK. The fixing bar was nice, but it was soooo busy that they couldn't keep it replenished and it took about 10 minutes just to get anything. It was very tricky getting a table and difficult to get to it even after we had claimed one due to how close the tables were together. We weren't horrribly impressed, but it could have just been the chaos that we felt trying to get the meal. Food - B;- Atmosphere - D

Hoop Dee Doo (Dinner) - What a fun show. We were seated in the middle towards the front (made our reservations in May) at our own table. DD loved the show and we laughed at all the corny jokes. Just a lot of fun and well done! The food was pretty good. A Little rushed, but no complaints. Food - B; Atmoshpere A

Day 3
CRT (Breakfast) We waited about 15 minutes for our 8:05 reservation. The castle was really pretty and my DD was in awe. Wished we had had a window seat, but we didn't make it early enough and we were seated in the middle of the floor (that was OK as it was still nicely spaced and well decorated). The princesses came around fairly quickly and were not very talkative unless you really worked at it. My DD was so in awe of them that she wasn't too engaging. Alladin was wonderful, though. He really took some time and talked to her - she will be forever impressed with him. The food was very good - we especially loved the stuffed toast! Food - A; Atmoshpere - A+; Character Interaction B

Biergarten - Epcot (Early Dinner) We had no PS, but it was raining and we decided to dry off a little and step inside. We waited about 25 minutes for our table and were seated on the 2nd tier with another family of 5. It was fun to talk with them and we didn't mind at all the set up. The entertainment was fun and varied. I guess I thought DD would get to dance or something, but it wasn't really set up like that when we were there. That was fine as they played several instruments and we all enjoyed the cultural flavor. The food was good, plentiful, and varied. I loved the cabbage, schnitzel, and prezel bread. The meal was just different and that was a nice change. Food - B+; Atmoshere B+

Day 4
Sci-Fi - We waited a really long time for this one and it was a little bit frustrating - probably almost 50 minutes for a 1:00 PS. It was a cool place, but we were placed in the back corner which took away a little bit from the atmoshpere. DD loved the glowing ice cube and DH loved the shake. The burgers were pretty good, although a little greasy. The movie shorts were really fun and enjoyed by all. It was hard to get DD and DH out of there. Food B-; Atmosphere A-

O'hana's (Dinner) We arrived early and had a Back-Scratcher and a Lapu Lapu at the bar before dinner. Wonderful drinks, but yikes the price :) We were seated near a window and enjoyed the view to MK. The Fireworks were late that night so we missed them, but it was a nice relaxing atmoshpere. We loved the appitizers - especially the won tons! The skewers were very good - especially the pork. I didn't care for the sausage and the shrimp was a little too spicy, but there was plenty or beef and pork for me. Loved the carmel and pineapple at the end. It was also fun just walking around this resort! Food - A; Atmoshhere A

Day 5
Victoria and Albert's (Dinner) What can I say - amazing! We had a wonderful, relaxing dinner and our servers were perfect. We loved everything we ordered, although I'm not sure I could identify everything. The portions seemed tiny at first, but we left stuffed. We especially loved the filet and the creme brulee, but truely everything was perfect! The pairings were a nice touch - although perhaps expensive for what they gave you - but hey wasn't everything :teeth: The coffee was an entertaining end. Our DD stayed at the Neverland club and had what she described as her favorite evening  (huh? somethings wrong with that picture) Food A+; Atmoshere A+

Day 6
Liberty Tree Tavern (Dinner before MNNSHP) This was our least favorite meal as far as the food, but the character interaction was great. We were seated quickly and were very happy to have the PS as others waited a long time. The food just seemed sub par compared to everything else (maybe we had just been spoiled by V & A the night before :teeth: ) The ham was a little dry and the mac and cheese and stuffing was Stouffer-like. The beans were pretty good though. The characters were great. they really took time and we enjoyed their antics - particularly Goofy and Pluto. Great pictures! Food C- ; Atmoshpere - B; Character Interaction A

Day 7
Artist Point (Dinner) What a great ending to our last day at the WL. The meal was excellent. I loved the portebella soup and tenderloin. I didn't like the Humboldt Fog Rosti (goat cheese is just not my thing), but they quickly replaced this with the roasted sweet potatoes which were awesome ::yes:: DH loved the salmon! The cobbler was to die for. The atmoshere was formal, but not overdone. Food - A; Atmoshere - A

Day 8
Planet Hollywood DTD (Dinner) We didn't have a reservation, but walked right in at 5:30. It was quite another story when we left as the wait was probably an hour. The atmoshere was really neat as far as all the movie stuff, but the tables were really crowded together which made it seem very cramped. The service wasn't great and we waited abour 15 minutes before we even saw a server. He was nice, but apparently a little too busy, as he seemed rushed and we waited extended periods of time for everything. The food was OK. We all ordered different pasta dishes and they were good, but nothing special. The portions, however, were HUGE :earseek: and we could have easily shared! DD loved the Make-your-own-sundae, but I was anxious to leave as we had been in there about 90 minutes. Food - C; Atmosphere - B

Whew - that's it! Can't wait to go back and try all the other wonderful places to eat! I gained a few pounds, despite all the walking :hyper: Feel free to ask any questions :wave2:

Thank you for the reviews!

I did have to laugh at your comment about the mac and cheese and stuffing being "Stouffer-like" though, because I have read in several places that it actually is Stouffers!! :teeth:

Great Reviews - I enjoyed reading them. :)

Sorry you didn't enjoy Liberty Tree - it's one of our favorites. The characters really make this one fun - can you tell me which characters you had there? Goofy used to be there, but he wasn't there in September when we went - we had Meeko instead. TIA! :)

Great reviews!! I completely understand DDs remark to liking the Neverland club. Our kids went once last year and they also loved it. So much that we have them going to the kids clubs 3 times this trip. I think they enjoy the down time on the computers or watching a video.

We will be dining at Artist Point this trip, I am glad you enjoyed it. I am definitly getting that cobbler!!

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!!

My dd LOVED the Liberty Tree. Her fave "food" meal. Meeko tried to steal her bread and mashed potatoes and she told him to "go away". Don't mess with my kid's food...even if you are a DISNEY star! :teeth:

Thank for the reviews. If you ask my DS what were his favorite things at disney in this order Monorail, Neverland Club, Volcano Pool & Splash Mtn he was 4 when we took him.

Thanks for the great reviews! We were at WDW the same week that you were. I think we were at Biergaten the same evening as well. We ran in from the rain on Monday night. We enjoyed the food and the service was good as well. I wished they would invite the kids down for dancing....we just took them down (without an invite) and there were a few little ones already there. I thought the show was awfully quick! It was fun though! I would do it again. Glad to hear that you had fun too!

The characters that were at LT the evening we were there were Chip and Dale, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie - They really were great - Pluto really cracked us up! No Mikey though :(

The Pricesses at CRT were Aurora, Cinderella, Wendy, Snow White. and Alladin.

hygienejean:
I agree, it really would have added to the experience if they would have just had a little dance for the kids at Biergaten. It might have lengthened the program too! We really enjoyed, also, though!

Tinkerbelle739:
Just a note about the kids clubs. My DD insisted on going again, so we put her in the Kids Den at WL for 2-hours while we ate at Artist Point. She enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as the Neverland Club! It's much smaller and the staff appeared to interact with the kids a lot less in our presence. Check-in and out was also a little less organized there also when we were there.

Thanks for all the replys!
