This trip was just me; three wonderful days at Disney World all by myself! I am a 28 year old female. I had good experiences everywhere I ate, but of course I enoyed some restaurants better than others.

Ohana- Dinner
Due to a mistake on my part I arrived over half an hour late for my reservation. The hostess assured me it was not a problem, so I went to the bar. At the bar I experienced my new favorite drink, the Maui Rita, tequilla and grand marnier with orange, passion fruit and guava juices toped with grenadine. It was quite tastly. I was seated about fifteen minutes later at a table for two in the main room between the windows and the walkway.
I hadn't been here since the menu change so I was interested to find out what I thought. For starters I was not crazy about the won ton chips. I much preferred the shrimp won ton of the past. I loved the chicken wings which have not changed. I thought the potatoes au gratin were very good, but I though the old fried rice fit the theme of the restaurant much better. I also liked the new shimp dish, but again I preferred the old shimp skewers. One addition that I did enjoy was the sausage skewer. The meat was well done and prfectly spiced. I tried each of the other meats and enjoyed them all, but by this time I was getting full and I wanted to save room for dessert. The new dessert of banana bread pudding, vanilla ice cream and fosters sauce was excellent, a huge improvement over the old pineapple and carmel! I ate most of it, and it is meant to serve several people.
I enjoyed my meal very much. The service was wonderful, and I think it is a good value. As an added bonus I got to se Wishes near the end of my meal, which was a nice surprise. Because I was by myself I ended up with way too much food, but I just ate as much as I cared to and had the rest cleared. Overall I liked the old menu slightly better, but not nearly enough to keep me from coming back.

Les Chefs de France- Lunch
This restaurant is must do for me on every trip, and this one was no exception. I arrived a few minutes early for my noon reservation and they were not open yet. As soon as they were open I was seated at a window table in the main room. It was wonderful for people watching! My waiter was very attentive and willing to chat, which was nice. I ordered the French Menu (french onion soup, grilled ham and cheese sandwich and creme broule) and a glass of white wine. Max did a good job of pacing my courses; I did not feel rushed, but I wasn't waiting around either. He also checked on me several times throughout my meal. As always my food was very good and I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. It did not dissapoint, and I will continue to return.

Restaurant Marrakesh- Dinner
I have always been curious to try this place, but I was nervous that the food would be too different for me. So I decided to bite the bullet and try it, and I am glad I did. The hostess seeme a bit thrown by the fact that I was by myself, it was like she did not know what to do with me! She originally wanted to seat me next to a party of five, with the fifth person sitting in the aise seperating our tables. I would have had to squeeze behind him to get to my seat, and he was not a small man! I asked to be seated instead at one of the several empty tables nearby which was not a problem. I decided to order off the appatizer menu so I could try a few different things. I decided on the Beef Brewat Rolls and the Seafood Bastilla. Both of them were very good, and the two together were just the right amount of food. I did not order dessert. The musicans began playing right after I ordered, followed by the belly dancer a few minutes later. It was nice having the entertainment there. The service was good, but not excellent. I am glad I tried Resteraunt Marrakesh, but it is not one I would return to on every single trip.

Tusker House-Lunch
I find myself returning to Tusker House trip after trip because the food is so good! It is the best counter service at any Disney park I have ever been to. I always order the grilled salmon, and this time was no exception. I took my meal to a table outside by the river and just gawked at Expedition Everest. It looks like it is goint to be an amazing ride! It was a nice meal at a reasonable price.

Beaches n' Cream- Dinner
I wanted to grab a quick bite beofre heading out to Epcot, and because I was staying at the Beach Club Villas and it was still early, about six o'clock, I decided that Beaches n' Cream was the way to go. I was seated immediatly at the counter. I was offered a table, but it seemed silly to take up a whole table for just me, especially since the place fills up so quickly. I ordered a burger and fries and both were excellent. I had vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and peanut butter for dessert, I discoved that this is a good single scoop alternative to the fabulous, but way too big, No Way Jose. This was a good quick meal, and I was on my way to Epcot in about half an hour.

Lunch- Roaring Forks Cafe
I headed over to the Wilderness Lodge to check out the resort and have a quick bite to eat before I had to head to the airport. I wandered around the grounds and asked at the front desk to see a room, which I was cheerfully shown. I headed to Roaring Forks for lunch. I found the layout to be a bit confusing. I didn't know where to order or if it was just grab and go, and I had to ask a fellow customer how to get my food. He set me straight, and I ordered chicken strips and a soda. I was stunned that this came to over ten dollars! The chicken strips were good though. I took my food and ate by the lake. It was a beautiful day and the surroundings were very pleasant.
