dining reservations?

We have a trip planned for Memorial Day weekend and I am wondering if I should (or can) make dining reservations before we leave. I'm so used to making all my ADR's for Disney - I'm not sure if it's the same at Universal!

Most of the time you won't need reservations at Universal. Memorial Day weekend will be busy but doable. You can make reservations the morning of your visit at the CityWalk kiosk located in front of The Endangered Species store. This is what it looks like:

Most of the park restaurants are counter service so you can't make reservations there. Mythos at IOA will accept reservations for lunch only.

Wow - so you just walk right up and make ressies that day. Sounds weird to me because I'm so used to Disney, but it requires much less planning! Thanks so much for the info!
