I was on hold an hour to make my ADRs. I finally got through and the CM tells me that the system is completely down, to try later. How are others making their ressies? I cannot believe I waited an hour and did not even get to make my ADRs. I think I might cry now.

A friend of mine was on hold for two hours as well and she was just told the system is down. Are others getting in???

I know a lot of folks are having problems even getting through. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Got a CM right at 7am. 49 minutes later, had all my ADRs for a 10 night trip. I got everything I wanted. There were a few glitches in there, thus the nearly hour long call, but otherwise everything worked out for me!

They told me it is hit and miss as to whether you get a CM that has a system that is working or not. I asked to be tossed back into the queue and it eventually disconnected. ARGH!

I just tried calling about something and can't get through at all! It said "all curciuts are busy, try agian later"

I kept trying. The phone system was down. Then I was on hold for ten minutes and the agent tells me she couldn't make any reservations. She asked me if I wanted to be put back in the loop. Their computer system is being upgraded. She said a couple of reps had systems working.
Come on trying upgrading in after hours. This was at 10:20 AM I had contact with the rep. :surfweb:

I feel lucky! I called right when the phone lines opened and waited on hold about 20-25 minutes. I was able to make all of my dining reservations for the 16th through the 22nd. :)

I just tried to book my ADR's this morning. The first time I waited an hour and did not get through. The second time I got through after 20 minutes and she booked three reservations, then she said her system went down and she was going to transfer me .After about 10 minutes she told me all systems went down and that I would have to call back! She said I lost all the ones I booked. I asked if there was a manager available she said no they are all trying to get the systems back up. She said thats what happens when you work with computers! (I understand I work with one as well) Tried a third time they said not sure when they are going to be up.They said keep trying back!:sad2:

I warned my gf last week about the new ADR system and that I waited 46 minutes to make my reservations. She left a message for me today that she waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to make her ADR's this morning. I'm going to see her at school later to find out if she got everything she had wanted.

I called at 11:15am this morning and got the "all circuits are busy" message twice in a row. The third time, I got through and was on the phone with a CM in less than two minutes. Got my ADRs with no trouble.

I have been on the phone with them half the day. I was 2.5 hrs when I finally had all ressies made. The CM said "I am getting you your confirmation numbers" and then I was disconnected. I have not been able to confirm whether it went through or not. I keep calling back and none of the CMs I have had have been able to log on and see anything.

I cannot believe that a corporation this size would have an issue like this. They would have known that this volume of calls was coming and they should have had every server ready and all bandwidth throttled up.

I fully understand that it is not the CMs fault and I cannot imagine how frustrated they must be. I would not want to have to answer the phones over there today. But I am not going to be happy if all my ressies were lost and I end up eating nuggets for a week.

Man, it's a good thing the Disney IT people don't work for a bank! I used to be in IT for one of the major banks here in Chicago and our on-line trading systems had to be up constantly -- heaven help you if the system went down during the day. Don't their IT people upgrade after hours? And test the whole upgrade process on a network mirroring their live network so that when they do the upgrade it actually works? If this is to get the online ADR process started, I hope they get all the bugs worked out before I have to make my ADRs in JULY!

I called this morning and was on hold for over 35 mins to find out the systems were down. I just called again right now and a CM answered right away but before even saying hello said the systems were down and to call back later this afternoon. I couldn't tell if it was a real person or a msg at first!!!

I finally got part of my ADR's booked but.. I was not able to get the Whispering Canyon Cafe which is what my son requested for his Birthday.. the first time we had a ressie but then they lost it when the system went down! They saved my ressies part way through this time . Good thing they did because I lost a couple of more, the system went down again! This is so frustrating! I understand it is not the cm fault but it is still frustrating!:headache:

Boy I must have been lucky. I called right at 7am and got thru with less than a minute on hold. I got all my ADr's except one (fantasmic package is hard for Aug) only 2 shows a week scheduled at the moment had to settle for Brown Derby instead of Mama Melrose.

I don't know if this helps but I called the recreation line last week about pirates league and asked if they would take my dining ADD's and they said sure no problem so I called that number today instead of the dining numebr.

I got Raglan Rd, CM, CP, Park 1900, Tuskers and LeCellier. I couldn't believe the 2 bfast I got 1st available slot. Boy Pixie dust must have been sprinkled on me.:cheer2::woohoo:

good luck everyone I guess today is busy as it is 1st available for free dining in August

I called yesterday around 3 pm EST to try for some ressies for a somewhat last minute trip we booked late last week. (end of July) I got right through, and got an awesome CM who was able to book us for dinner at Le Cellier (I almost fell on the floor), b-fast at Chef Mickey's, dinner at 'Ohana, dinner at Teppan Edo, and dinner at WCC. I wondered aloud to her if I should go out and buy a lottery ticket, lol.

I called at 7am this morning and was on hold for 47 minutes, but once the CM came on, she was lovely and thourough and I got everything I want.

I called back at around 11:30 to ask about one of my reservations. The recording said my estimated wait time was 2 minutes, but I don't think I waited that long.
