Dining Reservations - split stay renting points

I'm renting points from someone and its a split stay so I actually have 3 different reservation numbers.

My question, when I call up to make a dining reservations 180 days out from my first night, will they allow me to book reservations for my whole stay even though there are different reservations?

Not so sure because we are doing a split stay for 8 nights. 4 nights at each resort and when I called to make ADRs on day 1, I was able to make reservations for all 8 nights. I told them I had two reservation numbers and they only had me give them the first one and had no problems at all.

You spoke to a human agent. Maybe he or she over-rode the restriction. When you book online, you don't even need a hotel confirmation. Many non-disney hotel guests still want to eat on properties. So they really just need your CC (more expensive ones) and contact info. So I think 180 day limit is built in on the website calendar.

Also, a question for thought... Is it really a vacation when you have to worry about where to eat 6 months from now, just for a meal? That planning and counting sound like work to me. I don't even know what I want to eat for lunch today so 6 month planning is a little strange to me. Anyway, to each his/her own. I guess.

Guess you got lucky ! I called MS at 180 days from our first check in day and made all reservations for that part, but was unable to make the rest until my next 180 day mark. I thought maybe that person couldn't do it, so I called back and back. I spoke with 4 different people and no one could override. I actually then spoke with a supervisor for other reasons, and asked her if she could do it. She tried for almost 45 min and wasn't able to. She said the + 10 is connected to the check in day and it wouldn't override.

Turns out those few days didn't matter. We had a birthday dinner to book the second part. We got that ressie and all others at the exact times we wanted! We leave Saturday!
