Dining Reservation System Down!

Curses....The reservation system has been down all morning. Hopefully it will be back up later today. I am off of work for a few days planning my packing lists, dining reservations, grocery delivery, and want to finalize my last few dining plans and Pirate's League ressie! I am so obsesses with Disney. I seriously need an intervention.

The CM told me the system was down when I tried to call last week. (This is after I had made all my reservations and was put on hold to wait for my confirmation numbers and was DISCONNECTED and lost all my reservations! Talk about needing an intervention!) The CM told me the system was down and wouldnt' be up for an least asn hour! I just kept calling and calling anyway, until I found a CM whose computer was running. If you find a CM with their computer running ask them to give you the confirmation numbers for after three reservations. The CM that I finally said her computer was working, said, anymore then three at a time can timeout the computer. I ended up with all the ADR's I wanted. Just remember, if you can't reserve no one can.

A couple of CMs told me that they now have a 'shopping cart'. It will hold reservations for a while, not sure how long. (One CM said maybe an hour.) When I got Le Cellier, my CM said, "let's not leave this one in the shopping cart." So anytime you get a hard to get ADR, ask for the confirm number before moving on. Given the way the system's been crashing...

Keep calling. They told me the same thing this morning and finally at 10:45 I got a CM and booked a ADR. Good Luck.

I just called and the system is still down...

Just keep trying. Saturday I was calling every time I got a moment, it took me 6 phone calls but I did get my ADRS including Dh's Le Cellier. I did the happy dance when it was all done around 7pm!

They sure do!!. I called a few times and they told me it was down. I called back and asked the CM if it was still down and she put me on hold, came back and tried and was able to book me CRT for the 29th of June. I was so excited and so worried I would lose it if we didn't just close it out and get the ressie number right then that I didn't try for anymore.

Now I just called back, and the CM says it's still down, might be 3 hours, and didn't seem to really believe me when I said I just booked a ressie., 15 minutes earlier.

Perhaps some of them just assume it's still down and don't even try to reboot or whaever. It just seems really messed up!
