December is coming up quicker and quicker. So naturally, I've been checking for an ADR to open up for BOG Lunch (12/7 if anyone is thinking of giving one up ;) ). However, the past 24 hours or so, when I search, it tells me "A problem occurred while searching. Please try again later."

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I think the site is experiencing issues, I'm having similar problems. How many in your party? I have a BOG lunch for 12/7 at 2:10 pm that I might be dropping sometime this week, but it's only for 2.

Oh darn! I have 4 in my party.

It's a relief that someone else is dealing with this issue. I thought it was only me. I was checking on my phone and my computer, and no matter what I was getting the statement.

It's been happening intermittently to me since yesterday. Unfortunately, it's not an uncommon Disney IT issue.

It's driving me up a wall! How can I try and grab an open reservation if I can't even see the reservations D:

1) Disney laid-off most of their IT-Staff.
2) They now rely upon contractors - many of which are foreign.
3) In fact. several computer folks sued, since they had to train their replacements before being laid-off.
4) Don't look for Disney IT to get much better soon . . . if ever.

Yes and I have been so disappointed in the Company for doing that. Not because of my simple issues with the website, but that they would do that to their employees. :sad2:

Thrown out on a technicality that I find unconscionable, but don't want to get political so this thread doesn't get closed.

I'd assume that if the case went ahead, everything Disney did is probably within terms of their contracts.

Jobs that are offshored in most industries end up being trained by the people who are losing their jobs.

You are right, but Disney, as well as other American companies, discovered the loophole in the H-1B visa program that protects them from violating the terms of the Bill . . . when in all reality they really are violating the terms of the Bill. That was the main reason the lawsuit was tossed, i.e. the outsourced company who hired the H-1B participants for Disney didn't have to lay off any of their employees. Since this is going off topic from the original post, I will drop it now. :rolleyes1

Being an older IT guy that worked for a Fortune 50? Bad Move. Disney IT is a disaster.... down about 20% of the time, and it just does NOT need to happen....

My advice? OUTSORCE to Amazon Web Services. I have no financial interest in this.... It simply WORKS. Want to get serious about Web Capability? Want to be a REAL Company on the Net?

Stop playing, get serious. Or we CALL CALL CALL CALL.... those employee benefits are adding up :).
